Performs confidential and complex administrative functions

Serves as liaison for the office of the mayor to local community groups, county and state agencies

Coordinates appointments to boards and commissions

Accompanies the mayor to a wide variety of day, evening and week-end events and meetings

Assists the mayor in evaluating plans or proposals by performing research and review of materials

Receives, investigates and answers sensitive inquires from citizens and works to resolve complaints
