The Inspections Division is responsible for enforcing the City's Property Maintenance Code and the Uniform State Construction Code, (building sub-code, plumbing sub-code and electrical subcode).

The Inspections Division provides inspection services, responds to heat emergencies, processes Board of Adjustment Appeals, Historic Preservation applications, and issues building permits.
